What’s New for 2019-20

The all-new State Farm Arena introduced many new amenities, features, and processes to ensure that every guest has an amazing experience whenever they walk through the doors.  Please read the page below to learn more about some of the exciting new changes.

Wi-Fi (connected by Comcast)

Free Xfinity WiFi Hotspots

We’re excited to partner with Xfinity to keep you connected with free WiFi at State Farm Arena. It’s more than 10 times faster than the previous network for the ultimate online experience.

To access Xfinity WiFi Hotspots throughout the arena, follow these simple steps:

  1. Make sure your wireless network adapter is enabled
  2. Select the network labeled “Arena Free Xfinity WiFi”
  3. Launch your web browser, and accept the terms and conditions


State Farm Arena is excited to work with the team at ParkMobile for all event-day parking needs. Please visit their website HERE to learn more about securing parking for your next visit to the arena.


Download and use Waze to find the fastest route to your parking lot. Waze is the only GPS program with event day traffic plans and street closures.

Parking Lot Names

State Farm Arena introduced new names for many of the parking lots fans use for event-day parking.  Below are the changes:

  • Centennial Sapphire Deck, formerly Centennial Deck, is on the corner of Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive
  • CNN Deck, south of the Centennial Deck on Centennial Olympic Park Drive
  • Diamond Deck, formerly the Georgia’s Own Credit Union Deck, is accessible via Baker Street
  • Ruby Lot, formerly Philips Lot B, is accessible via Baker Street
  • Parking is available for purchase in advance through Park Mobile


Hawks Member Only Information

Member Entry

  • Members will maintain a dedicated entry outside of Gate 1, which was formerly known as the CNN Entrance.
  • For members parking in CNN deck, please use the pedestrian bridge located on the CNN lower level to enter the arena. ALSO, if your ticket grants you access to Delta SKY360° Club, Chef’s Club, or Players Club PLEASE pick up your wristband / hand stamp just after entering State farm Arena.

Fan Friendly Pricing

Utilizing technology and new design features, fans will be able to enjoy fresh and affordable menu items and faster service throughout the arena. Including $1 chips, $2 jumbo pretzel, $3 bottled soda, and $5 on select beers, fan-friendly pricing will be featured during each of the nearly-200 Atlanta Hawks games, concerts, and shows hosted at State Farm Arena, with reach of almost two million fans annually.

Bag / Purse Policy

We recommend that guest do not bring bags to State Farm Arena. If you must bring a bag, bags can be no larger than 14" x 14"x 6".  All back packs of any size are prohibited. Please check the prohibited item policy and fees accordingly to help facilitate a quick and efficient entry process. All bags are subject to search upon entering the arena.

Guests with non-complying bags can check their bag for a cash fee ($5) by Gate 2, located off of centennial Olympic Park Dr.  Bag check is available two hours prior to the event start time through one hour after the conclusion of the event.  Items must be retrieved the same day.

Mobile Tickets

The Atlanta Hawks continue to prioritize mobile tickets for entrance to all home games and have a brand new Hawks app available (download it from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store). Learn more about our ticket process at hawks.com/managetickets.

Arena Entrance Names

State Farm Arena features a numbered entry point layout:

  • Gate 1 – located at the end of the CNN Center Food Court
  • Gate 2 – located on Centennial Olympic Park Drive
  • Gate 3 – bridge located on Centennial Olympic Park Drive, accessible from the CNN Deck
  • Gate 4 – located by MARTA station (MBS/GWCC/State Farm Arena/CNN Center)
  • Gate 5 – located on State Farm Drive by Diamond Deck
  • Gate 6 – located on Andrew Young International Blvd. and used for select events
  • Gate 7 – located on Andrew Young International Blvd. between State Farm Arena and the CNN Center
  • Diamond Deck Level 2 - located on the second level of the Deck
  • Diamond Deck Level 3 - located on the third level of the Deck

Rideshare presented by Jack Daniels

State Farm Arena provides a convenient pick up zone for Uber and Lyft riders, located on Centennial Olympic Park Dr. between State Farm Dr. and Andrew Young International Blvd. Gates 2, 4, and 5 are the closest to the pickup zone.

Banners and Signs

For Hawks games, banners or signs larger than 11” x 17” are prohibited. For non-Hawks events, banners or signs larger than 8.5” x 11” are prohibited. Banners, signs or other items that are affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic or any other hard material, that obstruct the view of guests, include obscure advertising, impede the operation of State Farm Arena, contain objectionable subject matter, or are commercial in nature are not permitted. State Farm Arena reserves the right to remove any banner at any time.
