Chef G. Garvin

The Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena have tapped award-winning and critically acclaimed chef, author and TV personality G. Garvin as Chief Culinary Officer to oversee the food experience throughout the venue. Teaming with Levy, the hospitality partner of State Farm Arena, Chef G. Garvin will bring his more than 25 years of experience working with luxury brands throughout the country, curating fine-dining experiences for high-profile celebrities and dignitaries, to one of the NBA's top-rated dining experiences as selected by Hawks season ticket members.

A native of Atlanta, Chef G. Garvin began his culinary journey at a young age, rising through the ranks at prestigious establishments like The Ritz-Carlton and Morton's The Steakhouse. He opened his own signature restaurants, including LowCountry Restaurants in Atlanta, authored best-selling cookbooks, and hosted TV shows, showcasing his unique style of 'keeping it simple with a Southern twist'. Chef G. Garvin's media success and culinary expertise have solidified his reputation in the industry, with shows like "Road Trip with G. Garvin" and hosting roles on Food Network's Cooking Channel and on the Aspire network.

Zac Brown, the three-time GRAMMY-award winning, multi-platinum front man of the Zac Brown Band curates the Zac Brown Social Club neighborhood in partnership with the Atlanta Hawks.

Brown brings his passion for food, music, design and hospitality to the new arena with this southern gourmet-style restaurant, complete with hand-made features crafted in Zac’s very own craftsman workshops.
