Bag Policy

Bag Size Requirement: 

  • 14" x 14" x 6" or smaller

Approved Bags:

  • State Farm Arena generally does not enforce a clear bag policy; however, specific event organizers may choose to do so. To ensure you are prepared, please visit statefarmarena.com/events and check your specific event's listing to confirm the applicable bag policy.
  • All bags are subject to screening.
  • Single-compartment drawstring bags, purses, or fashion backpacks that are smaller than 14" x 14" x 6".
  • Medical bags and diaper bags accompanying a child are exempt from the size requirement policy but are subject to search. Parents may bring in plastic bottles of formula or milk inside the arena. 
  • Approved media members may bring backpacks, provided that they undergo screening at the Media Entrance.
  • Strollers are welcome inside the arena, but must be checked inside Gate 1 at the Guest Service Center (view arena map).

Prohibited Bags:

  • All bags larger than 14" x 14" x 6". This includes briefcases, purses, and luggage. 
  • Backpacks and hard-sided bags of any size. Approved media members may bring backpacks, provided that they undergo screening at the Media Entrance.

Bag Valet:

  • For a fee, guests with non-complying bags can check their bag by Gate 2, located off of Centennial Olympic Park Dr.  
  • Bag check is available one hour and 30 minutes prior to the event start time through one hour after the conclusion of the event. Items must be retrieved the same day.
  • For the Hawks game on February 26 and the TWICE concert on February 27, the Bag Valet tent will be temporarily relocated to the outdoor plaza outside Gate 1.

Lost Bag:

  • If you have an inquiry regarding an unclaimed item, please fill out this form to claim your item.
