ATLANTA DREAM ANNOUNCES MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT TO PLAY ALL HOME GAMES AT STATE FARM ARENA

Unprecedented Growth has Transformed the Dream; New Home Now Matches Increasing Fan Demand; 2027 Season Tickets on Sale

ATLANTA (October 6, 2026) — The Atlanta Dream today announced a new multi-year agreement with State Farm Arena that will make the award-winning downtown Atlanta venue the new home for all Dream home games beginning with the 2027 season. As part of the expanded 2027 WNBA season, each team will play 50 regular season games, and the Dream will play all 25 home games at State Farm Arena. Season tickets are on sale now at atlantadream.com.

The move to State Farm Arena reflects the unprecedented growth of the franchise, increasing ticket demand and overall excitement for the entire Dream fan experience. After establishing one of the WNBA’s strongest home-court environments at Gateway Center Arena, the Dream will move to a venue that dramatically expands capacity and gives thousands more fans across Georgia and the Southeast the opportunity to experience Dream basketball.

Over the past five years under new ownership, the Dream has seen more than 400% growth in season ticket members and expanded its reach to ticket buyers from all 50 states.

“This is an exciting next chapter for the Atlanta Dream, and a direct reflection of the exciting style of play that is Dream basketball, the passion of our fans and the incredible growth of this franchise,” said Morgan Shaw Parker, president and COO of the Atlanta Dream. “Our players and our fans have transformed Gateway Center Arena into the most exciting experience in the WNBA. State Farm Arena gives us the opportunity to welcome thousands of additional fans while creating an even bigger stage for women’s basketball in Atlanta. We look forward to bringing the energy, traditions and spirit of Gateway with us to the heart of our city.”

“We are thrilled that the Atlanta Dream has chosen to make State Farm Arena its new home. The team’s brand and fan base have grown tremendously throughout the city as the Dream has become one of the WNBA’s elite franchises both on and off the court,” said Andrew Saltzman, President of Business Enterprise and Chief Commercial Officer of the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena. “The WNBA is experiencing a meteoric rise with rapid growth in attendance and viewership, and this is a great opportunity to elevate the visibility of women’s basketball and bring that excitement to our world-class venue.”

The Dream has sold out every game at Gateway Center Arena over the last three seasons. In that time, the Dream has also sold out State Farm Arena eight times, including multiple record-setting games with over 17,000 fans in the building. State Farm Arena will provide significantly more seating capacity and allow the Dream to offer a broader range of ticket options and price points, while also creating expanded opportunities for premium experiences.

A Bigger Stage. The Same Home-Court Advantage.

Gateway Center Arena will always hold a special place in the history of the Atlanta Dream. From 2021-2026, Gateway became the setting for one of the WNBA’s most passionate home-court environments, fueled by a proud Atlanta fanbase that embraced the players and helped make Dream games a must-see experience.

That same energy will remain at the center of the Dream’s new home. The team will intentionally design the State Farm Arena game-day experience to preserve the intimacy, traditions and fan engagement that have defined its home games.
