STATE FARM ARENA SECURES TOP 5 RANKING IN THE UNITED STATES AND SEVENTH WORLDWIDE FOR LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

Atlanta’s Award-Winning Arena Hosted Paul McCartney, Dua Lipa, Nate Bargatze and Usher for Sold-Out Multiple Night Shows

ATLANTA – State Farm Arena, the home of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, has officially ranked fifth domestically and seventh worldwide in the list of the Top Venues (with 15,001 or more capacity excluding stadiums) according to Billboard’s The Year In Touring 2025 Report. According to the report, only one NBA venue ranked ahead of State Farm Arena in total number of events, which was Madison Square Garden. This ranking also marks the third year in a row that the venue was ranked in the Top 10 globally. Billboard, the world’s premier music publication which has served the entertainment business since 1894, published their annual year-end rankings earlier this month.

“It is an incredible accomplishment for us to be recognized among the best in Billboard’s end-of-year rankings,” said State Farm Arena’s Executive Vice President of Arena Programming Trey Feazell. “Through long hours, creative thinking, strong partnerships with artists, managers, agents and promoters, and an unwavering focus on delivering unforgettable experiences for fans and artists alike, we are proud to make our Arena a global destination for the biggest acts and the biggest moments.”

Per Billboard, State Farm Arena hosted 94 ticketed non-Hawks events. Since November of last year, the venue hosted multi-night shows for the legendary Paul McCartney, GRAMMY® Award-winning artists Dua Lipa, Pearl Jam and Usher as well as renowned comedians Nate Bargatze and Katt Williams. The Arena also featured the biggest stars such as Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, Rauw Alejandro, Shakira and Tate McRae and was the setting for UFC Fight Night, a couple of WWE pay-per-view events, multiple college basketball games and a sold-out WNBA game.

“This recognition continues to show that our organization strives to bring our best every single day,” said State Farm Arena’s Executive Vice President and Chief Facilities Officer Amanda Mann. “We value the experience of every employee, artist, fan, and partner who walks through our doors, and we are honored to share our signature Southern hospitality with them. Every show we host, every relationship we build, and every challenge we navigate brings us closer to our goal of being the most admired arena in sports and entertainment.”

Billboard is a globally renowned music and entertainment publication, known for its influential music charts, industry news and in-depth reporting on the music industry. The weekly publication with charts like Hot 100 and 200, tracks the most popular songs and albums in the US and globally, making them a key source of information for the music industry.

Wrapping up the 2025 calendar year at State Farm Arena, the venue will host two nights of trend-setting and chart-topping multiplatinum artist Rod Wave (Dec. 28 and 29) as well as Young Thug & Friends (Dec. 16), 96.1 The Beat’s Jingle Ball featuring Jermanine Dupri, Kehlani, Nelly and more (Dec. 18) and the CBS Sports Classic (Dec. 20).
