Daddy Yankee Announces Farewell Tour and Album
“Legendaddy” is set for release on March 24th at 8:00 PM EST.
Miami, FL- Global music icon, Daddy Yankee astonished the world when he announced the dates of his farewell tour “La Ultima Vuelta” (The Last Round) and his last album “Legendaddy”. On Sunday night, the artist posted a heartfelt message to his fans on www.daddyyankee.com announcing his retirement from the music industry.
“La Última Vuelta World Tour” will kick off in Portland, Oregon at the Moda Center on August 10, 2022. Promoted by Cardenas Marketing Network and Raphy Pina, MR Sold Out, the five-month trek includes some of the rapper-songwriters biggest headline shows in North America and Latin America to date. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting on Friday, March 25th, 2022, followed by general public on-sale tickets starting on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022.
Daddy Yankee said “Today, I’m announcing my retirement from music by giving you my best production and my best concert tour. I will say goodbye celebrating these 32 years of experience with this new collector's item, the album "Legendaddy". I'm going to give you all the styles that have defined me, in one single album”.
“Legendaddy” is Daddy Yankee’s first album in 10 years.
About Daddy Yankee
Global music icon, Daddy Yankee is known as the “King of Reggaeton” by music critics and fans alike. He is often cited as an influence by other Latin urban performers. In 2004, released his international hit single “Gasolina”, which is credited with introducing Reggaeton to audiences worldwide, and making the music genre a global phenomenon. Since then, he has sold around 30 million records, making him one of the best-selling Latin music artists. Daddy Yankee's album Barrio Fino made history when it became the top-selling Latin Music Album of the Decade 2000–2009. In 2017, Daddy Yankee, in collaboration with Latin pop singer Luis Fonsi released the hit single “Despacito''. It became the first Spanish-language song to hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 since 1996. The single gained global success. Daddy Yankee has won 110 awards and over 300 nominations. He has been named one of the “Most Influential Hispanics'' by both Time Magazine and CNN Network. In December, Daddy Yankee kicked off the Holiday season giving a new experience to his fans worldwide by releasing “DY2K20”, a digital version of his unforgettable 12 sold-out shows “Con Calma Pal’ Choli”, driving over 1.2 views within the first hour. In addition, in mid-December he fulfilled one of his biggest dreams which was to record with Marc Anthony his favorite Christmas song “De Vuelta Pa’ La Vuelta ”. With 300 million views, the song charted #1 on Billboard's Tropical Airplay chart and debuted #5 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. Daddy Yankee also released “Problema”, as his first song of 2021 which has accumulated over 1 billion streams since its initial release. He performed the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the next day on Good Morning America. Most recently, he was awarded Songwriter Of The Year for the third time at the 2021 ASCAP Latin Music Awards and has bestowed with the Billboard Hall of Fame Award becoming the first urban Latino artist to enter. In March he announced his last tour “La Última Vuelta” and his last album “Legendaddy”.

Bag Policy
State Farm Arena is required to prohibit all bags, including briefcases, purses, luggage, and diaper bags, larger than 14" x 14" x 6" from being brought into the arena. Backpacks and hard-sided bags of any kind are also prohibited. Single-compartment drawstring bags and fashion backpacks or purses that are smaller than 14" x 14" x 6" are permitted.
Cashless Enviroment
State Farm Arena is a cashless environment. Card payment will be required at all ticket, food & beverage, and retail locations. No cash payments will be accepted.
Contactless Entry, Screening & Transactions

- State Farm Arena will be a cashless environment. Card payment will be required at all ticket, food & beverage, and retail locations. We suggest contactless payments such as tap to pay, contactless Chase cards.
- X-ray scanners have been staged at all entrances to reduce touchpoints for bag checks. Bags must meet the 14” x 14” x 6” size requirement.

Prohibited Items
State Farm Arena does not permit the following items into the arena:
- Weapons (guns, knives, pepper spray, mace, chains, spiked bracelets, brass knuckles, etc.)
- Aerosol cans
- Backpacks (with the exception of single-compartment drawstring bags that meet the NBA bag-size requirements and media backpacks that have been screened at the media entrance). Purses (including fashion backpack purses) and diaper bags that have the appearance of backpacks will be allowed, provided that they meet the 14" x 14" x 6" size requirement.
- Hard-sided bags
- Outside food or beverages
- Whistles, air horns, electric noise makers or vuvuzelas
- Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Fireworks
- Beach balls, frisbees, bats, clubs, or any projectile
- Laser light pointers
- Optical illusions (items intended to create optical illusions or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pin wheels or umbrellas)
- Cameras with interchangeable or detachable lenses, or fixed lenses larger than 3 inches are prohibited at State Farm Arena
- Poles, selfie-sticks, tripods, monopods and missile-like objects that can be thrown
- Drones
- Clothing, garments or signs displaying explicit language, profanity or derogatory characterization towards any person(s)
Bags that exceed the 14" x 14" x 6" size requirement can be checked outside the arena for a ($5) cash fee.
State Farm Arena Management reserves the right to prohibit other items as deemed necessary.
